Terms of Service

1. The Service

Farseek is a Commander deckbuilding platform that provides deck storage, AI-assisted deckbuilding and analysis, and natural language card search. The service is provided as-is and may change over time.

2. Accounts

You must create an account to use Farseek. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Farseek. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Mana Credits and Subscriptions

Farseek uses a mana credit system to meter AI usage. Credits are consumed when you use AI-powered features including chat, deck analysis, strategy generation, and natural language card search.

• Free accounts receive a daily allocation of mana credits that resets at midnight UTC.
• Paid plans provide additional credits on a subscription or top-up basis.
• Mana credits have no cash value and are non-transferable.
• Unused credits do not roll over between billing periods unless otherwise stated.
• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We do not offer refunds on unused credits or partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.

4. AI Features

Farseek uses large language models to power AI chat, deck analysis, and card search. AI-generated content is provided for informational and creative purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI response. You are responsible for any decisions you make based on AI output.

AI features consume mana credits. The cost per interaction depends on the complexity of the request and the length of your deck.

5. Card Data

Card text, imagery, and related data are sourced from Scryfall. Commander popularity and recommendation data is provided by EDHREC. Both are used solely to operate the service. Magic: The Gathering card content is the intellectual property of Wizards of the Coast LLC. Farseek is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast, Scryfall, or EDHREC.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of the decklists and content you create. By using Farseek, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your content in order to provide the service. We do not sell your decklists or use them to train AI models.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service in any way that violates applicable law
• Attempt to circumvent mana credit limits or payment systems
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the API
• Use the service to generate harmful, illegal, or offensive content
• Share your account with others or sell access to the service

8. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for significant changes that affect paid features.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Farseek is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the settings page. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms. On termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a notice in the app. Continued use of Farseek after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
